United Methodist Women

UMW is the largest organized faith-based organization for women in the world. The mission of UMW is to improve the lives of women, children and youth throughout the world.

The Aldersgate UMW is part of this organization through the ties of the UMC and we actively support the overall mission across the state & world.  We firmly believe what Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 25 "...In so much as you have done it to one of these, you have done it to Me."

There are 47 members who belong to 5 circles: 2 meet in the morning and 3 meet in the evening, each once a month either at the church or a members home.  There is a general meeting monthly, alternating between mornings and evenings.  There is a place for everyone in UMW.
